An online secondhand clothing store where users sell directly to other users. A small, sturdy attempt at making circular fashion easier in Iceland.
Done in cooperation with TV2 in Denmark. Investigated how to strengthen fault tolerance in a microservice architecture aiming for high availability — patterns, trade-offs, and what actually worked in practice.
Helped organise 2016 and 2018 — two conferences I'm still proud of.
Founding member. A programming community trying to restart the scene Iceland had during the JS boom — meetups, talks, getting engineers in a room together.
Built and consulted on smaller WordPress sites including breid.is and riff.is. Sometimes the right solution is the boring one.
Designed and implemented an interactive map for kort.skagalif.is. Lived a good life, then sunset.
